"President:
Adam Amit, a junior, is running because he wants to make the SA stronger by ending feuds amongst the executive board and doing what is best for the students.
If elected, Amit plans to work with all of the entities of the SA to bring them together and have them communicate with each other.
Amit said he has attended every community government meeting on campus and set up “Amit-and-Greets,” so the students can speak with him about their concerns.
Amit’s favorite dessert is chocolate cake with molten fudge inside and vanilla ice cream on the outside.

Josh Berk, a junior, said he is running because he wants to create a greater connection between students and their representative government by making student access to relevant information more easily accessible.
If elected, he plans to bring a fresh, imaginative and open style of leadership to the SA.
Berk is currently chairperson of the SA’s legislature.
His favorite superhero is Captain Planet because he is an environmental crusader who fought crime and cleaned up the mess as well.

According to Aaron Butler, the SA can do better if all executive board positions are willing to work together in order to benefit the students.
Butler currently holds the position of vice president of the programming board and said he feels his experience will help him as president.
Butler said his greatest talent is his ability to make others laugh and feel comfortable in what might be considered an uncomfortable situation. He believes laughter to be the best medicine.

Jonathan LaSala believes his experience as president of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity and the Inter-Fraternal Council will allow him to bring the SA to an unparalleled level.
Calling himself an SA outsider who believes in change, LaSala, a junior, said he plans to strengthen the communication between the SA and the students, as well as to create new leadership programs.
He plans to work with Residential Life, individual communities and the proper administrative offices to reconstruct the ways these groups communicate.

As current president of the Black Student Union, Jasen Pascal, a senior, feels that he can bring the SA in a positive direction.
If elected, he plans to follow the duties of president as listed in the SA constitution, and make the SA office a more welcoming, yet professional, environment where students can feel comfortable.
According to Pascal, the Binghamton community is our home for four years, so he wants to promote events such as meet-and-greets to encourage student groups and individuals to become a closer community.

Executive Vice President:
Lawrence Faulstich, a junior, is running because he wants to help the students of BU and leave his mark on the school.
If elected, Faulstich will make himself available to all student groups and community governments.
He said his goal as vice president is to keep the SA what it is meant to be, and he plans to follow the SA constitution in order to do so.
If Faulstich could have one superhuman power, he would have laser eyes.

Jared Kirschenbaum, a sophomore, decided to run because he has enjoyed his time as EVP of Hillel-Jewish Student Union and wants to continue to be involved behind the scenes at BU, bringing the students and the SA together.
He plans to repair relations between student groups and the EVP by personally attending every group’s meetings to gain insight into their events.
His favorite season is the spring because he can go outside and play basketball, baseball and Frisbee without fear of snow — most days.

Ari Feinman, a junior, decided to run so he could help ensure the success of all student groups at BU.
Feinman’s plans, if elected, include creating a formal Bill of Rights for all students, helping student groups find financial funding for their programs and ending the Student Group Council. He wants to replace it with an individual council and constitution for the 12 different classifications of student groups.

Joseph Bansgopaul chose to run because he felt that bureaucracy within the SA needed to end for student groups to flourish.
His goals, if elected as EVP, include uniting the SA, ensuring that student groups can function independently and enforcing the SA constitution and its by-laws.
Bansgopaul also wants to provide better representation for community governments and increase attendance at Student Group Council meetings.
Bansgopaul’s favorite breakfast food is waffles.

If elected, Jevon Williams, a sophomore, plans to replace the Student Group Council with a Student Group Forum, which will be held online. In this forum, student groups could post comments, requests, questions and concerns that would later be read by Williams.
Williams also plans to increase communication between the executive board of the SA to optimize the performance of the organization.

Matthew Allwood, a junior who has worked on two SA budgets in the past, is running because he wants to bring new ideas to the position that will help the average student.
His plans as VPF include protecting Off Campus College Transport (OCCT), working with the student body and providing regular treasurer exams.
