George Hamelos, 20, of the Bronx, was assaulted on State Street around 3 a.m. on Saturday. He was taken to Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center where he remains in intensive care, according to reports from The Press & Sun-Bulletin. The report states that Hamelos is listed as a Binghamton student.
